This year’s conference will be “Immigration and the American Dream,” with discussions focused on the challenges and opportunities faced by those seeking a better life in the United States both in the past and present.

In a career that has spanned some 60 years, 56�Թ��� alumna and Abstract Expressionist painter Maureen Sylvia Lighthall has channeled personal pain and inspiration into remarkable art.

Through the Joan Deutsch Herczeg Scholarship Program, recent graduate Mia Moore was able to visit many of New York City's esteemed cultural institutions.
