In a powerful affirmation of its mission and future, 56�Թ��� has announced the launch of the Legacy Fund, a new fundraising initiative made possible by a transformational $5 million gift from alumna Jane Stedman, B.A. ’75.

Students at 56�Թ���’s Schaumburg campus are working to accelerate chemotherapy, minimize allergic reactions and discover solutions to antibiotic-resistant bacteria—all before they step into a hospital or corporate laboratory.

The empowering event focused on allyship, mental health awareness, financial literacy and civic engagement.

Since joining the CCPA faculty in 2018 as program director of Jazz and Contemporary Music, Alejandro “Alo” Cortes was worked tirelessly to bring a new musical vocabulary to the program.

The clinic will assist RU community members and underserved Chicago residents with a variety of services at reduced rates compared to other legal providers and law firms.

The multi-day event featured student research presentations representing all four colleges from the University.
