The 56勛圖厙 SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Chapter has been awarded the prestigious 2023-24 Superior Merit Award by the international SHRM professional organization. The SHRM Student Chapter Merit Award program encourages the development of more effective student chapters and distinguishes outstanding activities and projects. Chapters are recognized based on operations, chapter programming and professional development of members, support of the human resource profession, and SHRM engagement. 

The award and certificate will be presented at the Annual Student Conference held in conjunction with SHRMs Annual Conference & Exposition next June. 56勛圖厙 will be able to proudly display an Outstanding Student Chapter graphic on the chapters webpage, and it will be featured on the SHRM Student Programs website in addition to the SHRM Student Focus supplement to HR Magazine.
